Location, location, location - 5 minutes from everywhere

This hotel Astoria Palace is simply great.  First of all is well located - 5 minutes walking from the centre, 5 minutes walking from the great Central Market, 7 minutes walking from the bullfigthing arena, and 5 minutes walking from the dozens bars, restaurants and night clubs. Hotel is located approximately 100 meters from the town hall, close to the downtown museums, and about eight miles from Valencia Airport. Really great hotel, ideally situated for sight seeing.Hotel amenities include the fitness center with jacuzzi, sauna, swimming pool, hair salon, and massage treatments and Vinatea restaurant. The hotel also offers room service, babysitting, laundry facilities, dry cleaning, concierge assistance, and 24-hour front desk service. All rooms feature wireless Internet access, satellite TV, in-room movies, clock radios, bathroom telephones, minibars, hairdryers, and safes. This hotel is in an excellent location and is obviously used by some very well-heeled visitors to Valencia and for the time of our stay we were very pleased.

We - journalists from USA and UK - stayed here for 4 nights during great Spanish fiesta calling "Las Fallas", which must test the patience of hotel staffs thoughout Valencia. It's really a crazy time there. With all the noise night and day, streets closed to cars and taxis, and restaurants jammed, it;s pretty hard to assist guests in enjoying the city. Still, the staff here did a repectable job.

Rooms are very good, well furnished and clean, beds are super-large king, room service is excellent. Then don't miss the amazing jacuzzi pool on the top floor with a gorgeous view of the city. I don't think there are better option for this price in town. Really great hotel, ideally situated for sight seeing. Very friendly staff, nice quiet rooms looking on to a little courtyard. We got excellent value  just returned fom this hotel and have to say i would definently reccomend it. The hotel room was very spacious and kept immaculately clean by the maids. The management was extremely professional, elegant and real Spanish caballero. The reception staff were all very professional and helpful. But the main reason we booked this hotel was the location and we weren't dissapointed, very central with lots of cafes, restaurants, bars. All in a few lovely squares nearby. All in all Valencia was a lovely place for a 4 days city break, and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Especially during the great "Las Fallas" Fiesta.
