5 Nights Costa Rica's National Parks

Day 1 - Assistance from our Vacaciones Barcelo guide at San Jose airport and transfer to the Hotel Barceló San José Palacio.

Day 2 - Early departure in the morning from your hotel to Tortuguero National Park, driving through Braulio Carrillo National Park, Costa Rica's biggest Rain Forest. Stop on the way for a typical Costa Rican breakfast. We will be boarding the boat on Caño Blanco dock to begin our trip into the jungle of the Caribbean Canals where you'll see a great variety of animals like caimans, birds, iguanas, monkeys and more. After Lunch we will take a walk through the rainforest and boat tour through Tortuguero National Park. ($10 park fee not included) Also we visit the Green Turtle Museum and the beach where turtles nest from July to September. Overnight at Pachira Lodge (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Included).

Day 3 - After Breakfast. Air transfer to San Jose. At San Jose arrival a private transportation will be waiting for you to go on your private tour. The tour will take you along the Pan-American highway heading towards the town of Alajuela. During the ascent to the Poas Volcano National Park we will passing through fern farm, strawberry plantations and flowers farms. Once at the top of the volcano, we will spend enough time to observe the main crater with its sulfur fumaroles. This volcano is considered one of the widest of the world having 1.5km diameter.

Thereafter, we will walk to the beautiful Botos lagoon where you can see the diverse flora and fauna of the cloud forest. After this visit we will continue visiting Doka State Coffee plantation for a Coffee tour and a delicious Costa Rican typical lunch. Doka is honored to be the Costa Rica's most awarded coffee plantation; in there you will see the complete coffee process from the plant to your cup and taste this delicious and representative hot drink of our country. In Doka you also have the opportunity to see beauty butterfly farm. After lunch, we will depart on the way to La Fortuna town, home of the Arenal Volcano, the most active volcano in the country, with its 1633 meters attitude and its almost perfect cone crater, in a combination with the incredible weather and amazing flora & fauna of the zone you will feel the real contact with nature. Keep on going with your tour, to enjoy the relaxed and curative experience of Hot Springs at Tabacon Hot Springs & Spa, from where you will also have a excellent view of the volcano. Finally we take you to your hotel Jungla y Senderos Los Lagos 4*. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner included)

Day 4 - After breakfast we visit Arenal Hanging Bridges Tour. There, visitors who love nature can enjoy 15 bridges from 5 to 100 meters long, friendly design along 3 km rain forest circuit of interpretive trails built with paving blocks to prevent slipping. Guided by a naturalist, who through the natural history will open for you the doors of a fascinating and colorful Tropical Rain Forest world. The imposing vistas of the Volcano from the hanging bridges over the forest, make a perfect combination for an unforgettable experience. Overnight at the same hotel as night before. Day 5 - Afternoon shuttle transportation to San Jose to the hotel Barceló San José Palacio. (Breakfast Included).

4 Nights Manuel Antonio National Park

Included in Tour: Transfers as outlined above 4 nights accommodation at Barcelo San Jose Palacio (2 nights), Casitas Eclipse (2 nights) or similar Tours as included in the package 4 breakfasts and 1 lunch.

Day 1 - Assistance from our Vacaciones Barcelo guide at San Jose airport and transfer to the Hotel Barceló San José Palacio.

Day 2 - We will begin the tour with a private transfer to the Central Pacific area of the contry, close to the Carara National Park where you can find the Tarcoles River, home to the Great American Crocodile measuring up to 23 feet. Experience a trip downstream which takes you to the Guacalillo Mangroves,the nesting place of the Scarlet Macaw. On both sides of the river you will see numerous species of birds such as Pelicans, Ospreys, Frigates and Trogons. A delicious traditional Costa Rica lunch then awaits you. Afterwards we drive 1 hour to Manuel Antonio, one of the most beautiful, romantic and popular Beach destinations in the country. Overnight at the hotel Casitas Eclipse or similar. Day 3 - After breakfast. we visit the popular Manuel Antonio National Park. It is popular because of its extensive white sand beaches backed by an evergreen forest. You can see primary forest, secondary forest, mangrove swamps, lagoons and beach vegetation within the Maunel Antonio National Park and there is a varied fauna with 109 species of mammals and 184 of birds. Your guide will make this an informative and interesting excursion pointing out many of the parks highlights. The park includes 12 little bays on its coastline and visitors can see dolphins and, at times, migrating whales can be observed. Overnight at your hotel. (Breakfast Included).

Day 4 - Morning free to relax and afternoon shuttle transportation to San Jose to the hotel Barceló San José Palacio. (Breakfast Included)

 4 Nights Turrialba Full Adventure Package

Day 1 - Assistance from our Vacaciones Barcelo guide at San Jose airport and transfer to the Hotel Barceló San José Palacio.

Day 2 - After breakfast your will be picked up at your hotel for the first tour Of the full adventures package. Our canyoning site is located in Calle Chirraca, a small modest, yet lush place near the town of Turrialba, which is an hour and a half east of San Jose. We begin the canyoning tour with an introduction of our guides and the equipment to help familiarize you with the different uses of the tools. We start the tour at the first waterfall, where a guide will give a speech on safety. They will go over the course and the equipment making sure you know the necessary mechanisms and procedures for canyoning, ensuring a safe and fun experience. And your off...rappelling down four waterfalls, zip lining down four canopy cables through the forest, descending down a tall tree and walking across a 132 foot hanging bridge, giving you an unforgettable adrenaline rush. We continue to the Hotel Casa Turire, beautiful colonial style hotel in the middle of picturesque countryside. The rest of the afternoon are yours to enjoy the beautiful gardens or simply rest at the hotel. (Breakfast/Lunch Included).

Day 3 - In the morning we offer you a mountain bike tour to tropical plantations. During the bike ride, a guide will explain the great diversity of the forest and fruit plantations such as: café, cacao, sugar cane, citrus, plantains, bananas, macadamia, pineapple, mangostan, mango, avocados and many other exotic species from tropical countries. Bike riders will see the fruits in the plantations when it is the specific time of the year for the fruit. Thanks to the diversity in flowers and fruits, the plantation is also an ideal site for the observation of birds, mammals and some reptiles. Afternoon you can experience the Pejibaye River by inflatable kayaks. Pejibaye River is located thirty minutes from Turrialba. This river has class 2 and 3 rapids. These rapids are perfect for those navigating and exploring the river in the small inflatable kayaks that we provide. The duckies fit one to two people in each raft. The trip takes approximately 3 hours and is a suitable tour to enjoy with all of the family. A river guide maneuvers the ducky and the rafter helps paddle and maneuver the ducky by following the instructions provided in detail. Rafters will enjoy the surrounding landscapes of the river including coffee and sugar cane plantations, as well as the pristine refreshing river. Overnight at your Hotel Casa Turire. Day 4 - After Breakfast you are off to Pacuare River White Water Rafting. Being one of the Top 10 rivers in the world for white water rafting, this is a unique opportunity to feel the adrenaline and enjoy the incomparable scenic surroundings. Day 5 - Departure.
